Wednesday 4/19/2006 8:53am - From Randy: Good Morning and blessings to all! We come to you today with heavy hearts yet in celebration of our fathers eternal graduation. God decided it was time for our father to join him this morning shortly before 6am. My mother,Cindy,Kevin,and Sonja were at his side.I do not need to say what an incredible man he was and how much we will miss him. Please continue to pray for our mother as she has many life changing adjustments she faces. Thank you each and every one for all of your wonderful support and prayers. Monday 4/17/2006 11:21pm - From: Randy: Hello All, My sister Sonja has done an outstanding job keeping everyone updated, but today we would ask that you not only continue to pray for our father, but to really hold our mother up in prayer. Yesterday was an extremely trying and emotional day for her. She is very tired and has had to have some heart breaking conversations. Not at all easy when concerning the love of your life for 50yr as you can imagine. While our father is in our prayers every minute of the day, our mother is our key focus at this time. Please continue to hold her and my sisters up in prayer. They are dealing with much and need your prayers. We love you all so dearly! Randy Goff

Tuesday 4/11/2006 8:15pm - From Sonja: Hello All! Dad has been moved from ICU into a step down unit tonight. He is on a new medication and they are beginning to do some exercises, standing, small walks, etc.. to make sure this med will work. We are in the same place we were a week ago as this was a set back! His spirits are still incredibly strong! My mother is fine. She was very stressed and has also developed TMJ. Anyone might grit their teeth through these circumstances!(Smile) My sister Cindy has now joined us here in California and will be here for two weeks. We sincerely appreciate all that you have done; cards, flowers, and most of all your love and prayers! Please DO NOT let the guard down!! We Love You So Much! Sonja

Thursday 4/6/2006 8:40pm - From Sonja: Hey Family and Friends, A quick update! Dad was shocked four times by his defribillator. This makes the total shocks 21. Because of the nature of his illness, this seems to be a harder process. He has made progress in walking! Continue to pray for him! We Love You All! Sonja

Monday 4/3/06 10:15pm - From Sonja: Hello all! I am back in California with Mom and Dad. Dad had surgery today and it was successful. After being shocked 17 times the defibrillator is a blessing. Our prayer now is for patience and strength as Dad is feeling better but is very weak. He is unable to use his legs as he has been in bed for sometime. We would like to say thank you to all of you for your prayers and love. The Lord has been good to our family! You all are cherished friends! Please continue to lift Mom and Dad up in prayers and encouragement! Love You!

Sunday 3/26/06 7:40pm - From Randy: The past couple of days have been an extremely emotional time for our father. He is obviously feeling discouraged by the fact that he is too weak to breathe on his own. Not only has it been emotional for dad but for our mother as well. She and Sonja have lived at the hospital with dad again this past week. Please continue to pray God's will for our father and strength, endurance, and piece of mind for our mother and my family. Words could never express the love and gratitude we feel towards all of you for your unwavering support. God bless and we truly appreciate you all!

Saturday 3/25/06 10:09am - From Chris: I just want everyone to know how much we love y'all! To see co-workers (friends), family, friends that are like family praying for Dad. We could never tell you what it means to Dad, Mom and the entire family to see how many people are praying for him all over the world! Be assured the messages you leave are also taken to the hospital and Dad reads or hears them all and it lifts his spirit. Please also be praying for strength during this time for our Mom. She is spending countless hours at the hospital with Dad and we all know how that can take it's toll. Thank you again for you love, prayers and support during this time. We love you all beyond measure!!

Tuesday 3/14/06 9:00pm - From Pastor: Let me begin by saying "GLORY TO GOD FOR THE GREAT THINGS HE HAS DONE." Let me continue by saying that "I AM BLESSED BEYOND MEASURE" to have so many wonderful friends and such a loving family. Thank you all for the prayers, cards, gifts, and love you have shown during this trying time. Thanks to my wife and children who are so loving and kind to me through the good times and bad.I have been home from the hospital for three days now starting the road to recuperating. I have a ways to go, but, by the grace of God we will make it. He has never failed and never will. You don't realize until something like this happens just how blessed you are to have such a faithful God, friends, and family. I love and appreciate all of you more than words could ever convey. I know you will continue to pray for me and our family as I recover. It is a difficult time for my wife as she works so tirelessly taking such good care of me. I will write more later, but, wanted to drop a note now just before I "shuffle off to bed".
